General Membership:  Shall be open to D.A.R.E. Officers who are actively teaching the D.A.R.E. program in their community.  General Membership is also open to community leaders, business leaders or community members wishing to support the D.A.R.E. program. 

General Meetings:  General membership meetings will be held one time per year at the annual D.A.R.E. Officer In-Service in October, on the first day (usually a Thursday) at noon.  

Special Meetings:  Special meetings may be called by the Board of Directors, as per D.A.R.E. Alaska Inc. Bylaw Article 4, Section 2.A.. Notification will be provided to the general membership, by mail and/or email, no less than ten days before the meeting. 

There are no annual dues to become a General Member of D.A.R.E. Alaska, Inc.  Membership to D.A.R.E. Alaska, Inc. will help the organization continue to improve services to D.A.R.E. Officers and children statewide.  Members will also receive notification of upcoming events.
